Valentine waffles

Love goes through the stomach, so says a wise saying, which our grandmothers already adhered to. They took care of their loved one with love and prepared all kinds of goodies for him. Prepare a delicious breakfast or a sweet after-dinner treat for your loved one on Valentine's Day (but also any other day of the year). Express your love to him with waffles in the shape of a romantic heart! Waffles tickle all the sweet tooth, you can enjoy them together in many ways and they are really easy to prepare. You can easily handle it with the help of the handy Orava W-01 waffle maker.

Whatever you like, we bring you a recipe for beautiful fluffy waffles. 

You can mix the dough for them in a few minutes.

Ingredients: (6 servings):

130 g of plain flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar, 2 eggs (size M), 180 ml of whole milk, 50 g of butter, a pinch of salt

How to do it:

1. Mix the flour with baking powder, salt, crystal and vanilla sugar in a bowl.
2. Mix milk, whole eggs and butter in a second bowl.
3. Make a well in the centre of the loose ingredients and pour the liquid ingredients from the second bowl into it. Mix everything together to form a thinner dough.
4. Coat the waffle maker with a little oil and let it heat up.
5. Using a ladle, pour the batter into the waffle maker, but not up to the edges so that it does not leak. Close the waffle maker and bake the waffles until golden.
6. Serve them with whatever you like: melted butter, honey, maple syrup, fruit, chocolate, Greek yogurt...
7. Don't forget to give your dearest a kiss on the cheek in addition to the waffles on the plate ?
