Meatballs with pasta

Have you come home from work or a trip and your children can't wait for dinner? Prepare them delicious meatballs in tomato sauce, which are on the plate within 30 minutes. For a few euros, you can enjoy great food that even small children love. 

To prepare the balls, use our helper - the Orava MM-902 meat grinder.

Preparation: 30 minút

Ingredients:

Balls: 500 g minced pork, 1 small onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon mustard, 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, ground black pepper

Sauce: 500 g pureed tomatoes, 1 KL balsamic vinegar, 1 KL granulated sugar, salt, ground black pepper, basil

Others: 500 g of spaghetti, 120 g of hard cheese

Preparation:

  1. If you want to be sure that you know what you are eating - prepare your own minced meat at home. Grind it in a grinder and mix it with chopped onion, crushed garlic, mustard, whole egg and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Season the mixture with salt and pepper and mix well. 
  2. Moisten your fingers and palms and shape the mixture into balls with a diameter of about 3 cm. Place them side by side on a shallow plate.
  3. Boil the salted water.
  4.  Fry the balls in oil in a deep pan until golden brown, until the meat is nicely browned. 
  5. Add pureed tomatoes to the pan, bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
  6. In the meantime, let the pasta cook and add the boiling pasta water spoonful to the pan to thin out the meat-tomato sauce a little.
  7. Remove the balls to a plate and add sugar, balsamic vinegar, basil to the sauce in the pan and season the sauce with salt and pepper.  
  8. Mix the drained pasta into the sauce, mix thoroughly and serve the sauce with the pasta on plates. Place the balls on top and grate the cheese.
