How to choose a TV

Paid or free income?

In general, we can say that the terrestrial reception of the TV signal in the form of DVB-T2 is sufficient for an undemanding viewer who perceives television broadcasting more as a backdrop. In this way, he gets a basic offer of several dozens of Czech and Slovak programs, and if he wants to see movies in high definition uninterrupted by commercials, he should be satisfied with the offer of public channels.

Paid reception via cable or satellite television is enabled by televisions with DVB-C or DVB-S tuner, which is equipped with most of the listed ORAVA TV models. IPTV broadcasting, in turn, requires the most stable connection to the Internet, the necessary LAN socket is also part of the equipment of most of the presented TV receivers.

Which model to choose?

The smallest of the devices presented today, the Orava LT-ANDR24 1224, with its diagonal of 60 cm and the possibility of powering in a car socket with a voltage of 12 V, is suitable not only for a car or a caravan, but also for smaller rooms or as a second screen in the kitchen and bedroom. Thanks to the connection to the Internet, it allows watching all popular services such as YouTube, Netflix or HBO. The Android TV menu, on the other hand, allows you to download Google games and applications. For less than 200 euros, you get a perfectly equipped and practically usable television, suitable for traveling and indoors.

What diagonal to choose?

Almost twice the screen size is offered by the ORAVA LT-1100 LED A140B model with a diagonal of 108 centimeters.
